MEP Estimator
The role
Estimate plumbing, HVAC and electrical scope for mechanical and electrical subcontractors.
What you will do
- Do takeoffs for Division 22 plumbing, 23 HVAC and 26 electrical.
- Count fixtures, devices and equipment. Measure pipe, duct and conduit runs.
- Price labor with unit rates per item.
- Prepare bid summaries for MEP subcontractors.
What you need
- 3 or more years of MEP estimating experience.
- Ability to read MEP drawings, schedules and riser diagrams.
- Daily use of a digital takeoff tool.
- Good written English.
Nice to have
- Experience with Trimble Accubid, McCormick or ConEst.
- Field experience as an electrician, plumber or HVAC technician.
