Senior Cost Estimator
The role
Own estimates from takeoff to final number for commercial and residential projects in the United States.
What you will do
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for general contractors and subcontractors.
- Do quantity takeoffs across CSI divisions 03 to 32.
- Price material, labor and equipment with regional cost data.
- Write inclusions, exclusions and clarifications for each bid.
- Check the work of other estimators before delivery.
What you need
- 5 or more years of construction estimating experience.
- Daily use of PlanSwift, Bluebeam Revu or On-Screen Takeoff.
- Ability to read architectural, structural and MEP drawings.
- Strong written English.
- At least 4 hours of overlap with US Eastern Time each workday.
Nice to have
- Experience with RSMeans or a similar cost database.
- A degree in construction management, quantity surveying or civil engineering.
- Experience on the contractor side of a bid.

- Paid per hour or per project for contractors, monthly salary for full-time roles.
- We provide licenses for the takeoff software that the work needs.
